What We Do
Work alongside administrators and campus partners to form policy and solve student issues.
Build a two-way bridge between AUSG and the student body, media, and registered student organizations.
Ensure the values of integrity, professionalism, and transparency in all of AUSG’s operations.
Directly representing student needs and concerns to all of AU undergraduate students through legislation and projects.
Organizing and executing dozens of entertaining, diverse, and educational events every week.
What We Have Done
Advocated for the addition of microwaves in MGC
Created the AUSG Survivor Bill of Rights and advocated for expanding support systems for survivors of sexual violence.
Pushing for mandatory routine COVID-19 testing of students, faculty, and staff across campus.
Addressing concerns of racial bias among AU faculty, staff, and the student body.
Expanding university recognition of important holidays that celebrate minority groups.
Expanding meal options for students through diversifying campus locations that accept meal swipes and advocating for the university to bring back the Subway footlong meal exchange program.
Advocating against hate speech on campus.
